Welcome to the Bellringing.biz Contents Page
This is a domain that hosts a few different bellringing sites for friends and my branch.
Some content has been hidden as they are ongoing "projects". The first two links on view here are hosted for a couple of groups that I'm involved with - my branch, the "Central Bucks Branch" of the "Oxford Diosesan Guild", and the other is a group of ringers and friends who meet annually for a weeks outing to differnt areas in the country. The group is called the "Wayfarers".
There's no strong theme running through the pages, I haven't had a great deal of time (or rather, I lack the creativeness!). What is here are modifications to themes that were available, the main aim at the moment is to get content in.

The Central Bucks Branch is a member of the Oxford Diosesan Guild of church bellringers. It was formed 80 years ago in Granborough and remains a medium sized branch with around 36 ringing towers.
The Wayfarers' group was started some 40 years ago by Roy Jones (a ringer from Marston Oxford). It was started as a group of teachers who wished to take a weekend away cycling with friends to ring at new towers - from this it grew to non-teachers and travelled further afield to new areas. It currently has around 30 members and carries on in the strong form it has now established. The group visit several towers in a given area each year over a week, including ringing Quarter Peals for those interested
Moodle is a fantastic opensource learning package designed to enable online learning for all different kinds of subjects... it just happens to be focused here on ringing. This is an idea/software that I'm testing for personal interest so that I can get familiar with it. It's live, so please take time to sign up and/or submit ideas for courses to me by email: mouthisi[at]gmail[dot]com. If you can contribute in any way that would be amazing! The aim is to more fully understand the software then look to see if it's a vaible aid to the resources currently available to ringers (there are many excellent websites out there:
Change ringing wiki,
heatons, cccbr leaflets, branch/guild/assosiation/tower websites, etc.)
